This 4 week course is for anyone older than 16, who wants to learn how to belay. During the first three sessions you will learn to safely use different belay devices. In the final session your new skills will be examined. If you succeed, you will receive an Indoor Toprope Certificate (KVB-IT). With this certificate, you are allowed to climb in all climbing centers in the Netherlands and Belgium.
The Indoor Toprope course starts every first Monday, Thursday and Sunday of the month. Classes on Monday and Thursday take place from 20.00 to 22.00. Sunday classes take place from 15.00 to 17.00.
Costs are € 60, including climbing gear, excluding entry fees.

Indoor Toprope climbing is fun, sure. But lead climbing is where the real challenge lies. This course is for anyone who wants to learn how to lead climb.
In 4 2-hour sessions, you will acquire lead climbing skills using different belay devices. During the 4th session, your skills will be tested. If you succeed, you will receive your Indoor Lead Climb Certificate (KVB-IV).
Costs are € 75, including climbing gear, excluding entry fees.

Did you recently complete the Indoor Toprope Course? The next step is the Basic Technique Course. This course is for everyone who knows how to belay and climbs level 3a – 6a.
In four two-hour sessions, you will be introduced to climbing techniques such as foot placement, twistlocks, body positioning, balance, moving statically/dynamically and how to ‘read’ a route. This course will help you develop a solid skill base.
Costs are € 60, including climbing gear, excluding entry fees. Climbing shoes are mandatory.
