{"id":68520,"date":"2025-12-01T10:32:48","date_gmt":"2025-12-01T10:32:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/gripnijmegen.nl\/boulderhal\/?p=68520"},"modified":"2025-12-01T10:32:50","modified_gmt":"2025-12-01T10:32:50","slug":"youth-series","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/gripnijmegen.nl\/boulderhal\/en\/2025\/12\/01\/youth-series\/","title":{"rendered":"Youth Series"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>On 13 December, GRIP hosts a round of the national youth competition (NKBV Jeugd Series). \u00a0During this round, youth climbers aged U11-U21 will be tested on 20 competition boulders ranging from 5A\/B to 7A, with NKBV judges on-site to keep score.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Schedule<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>09:00<\/strong> Check-in<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>09:45<\/strong> Briefing by the head judge<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>10:00\u201313:30<\/strong> Competition<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>14:00\u201314:30<\/strong> Award ceremony<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Participation<\/strong><br>\u20ac13.50, pay at GRIP on the day. Registration is via the NKBV website. Membership is not required, but a competition account is needed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons is-layout-flex wp-block-buttons-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link btn large color-primary wp-element-button\" href=\"https:\/\/was.nkbv.nl\/competitions\/4781\">Register<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Route setting<\/strong><br>The competition only takes place in the West Wing. Boulders will be removed on Wednesday (10\/12), and the competition boulders will be set on Thursday (11\/12) and Friday (12\/12). Keep in mind that there will be fewer boulders to climb during those 3 days in the West Wing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Competition day<\/strong><br>The West Wing is reserved for participants until 14:30.
