Founder and creator of GRIP. Noël started as an employee at the former climbing gym in Nijmegen in the '90s. In 2004, he left to further develop himself as a professional in the climbing sport. In 2012, Noël returned to take over the Nijmegen Climbing Hall and, with the knowledge he had gained and the right people around him, gradually expanded it into what GRIP is today.

Additionally, he designs posters and repairs everything that needs fixing. Without Sjors, there would be no bouldering gym.
sjors@gripnijmegen.nlPeter has been a climbing trainer at GRIP since 2017. With his charismatic personality, he can get you into routes with a smile that you wouldn't normally try yourself. Thanks to his creative style and athletic background (CIOS Arnhem), he is always looking for new challenges.

Merijn is a creative trainer. He trains various groups with passion, from the youngest kids to adults. He also sets routes and is the competition coach for the youth series.
If Janneke isn't climbing the wall herself, you can find her working behind the bar, always up for a chat about boulders, movies, or books.
You won't see Julian behind the bar very often, except for making a good cup of coffee. He's mainly involved in the company's development and keeping our colleagues and customers happy. If you want to work at Grip, he's the one to talk to!
Yves is often behind the bar but would rather spend more time in the gym chatting with everyone. Feel free to approach him for advice about climbing shoes or a chat about movies or music.
Jakob is from Denmark and handles marketing at GRIP. When he's not in the office, he often goes bouldering or mountain biking. If you see him around, feel free too teach him some Dutch!
At Grip, you'll often find Rico behind the bar or as a youth trainer. In his free time, he's regularily bouldering at the gym .
'Nature loves courage’ is Sophie’s motto, and climbing is a big part of that. You’ll find her behind the bar, always eager to chat about adventures and ready to help you recharge after your session.
Lucas is part of the Youth selection team. When he's not climbing, he will happily help you at the bar. He likes to chat about climbing and is always eager to help.
Pepijn has been around at GRIP for a while. You find him behind the bar, in the kitchen, and as a trainer. He's also an enthusiastic boulderer and climber himself. The adventure of discovering awesome routes and boulders in nature inspires him to train even more.
